Three Power Poles Down On Same Street During Storm

Paris, Tenn.—All available Paris Board of Public Utilities (BPU) crews were called in to repair downed poles and restore power during the severe storm and high winds experienced Monday night.
Three power poles were down on Blanton Street in Paris alone, due to a large limb coming down on lines, according to BPU Marketing Director Meagan Hart.
Some 200 customers were without power through the evening, with the majority in the Blanton/Walnut/Blythe Street areas of the Atkins-Porter Neighborhood in Paris.
By 1:30 a.m., power had been restored to all customers.
