Paris Man Revived By NARCAN, Arrested For Drug Possession

Paris, Tenn.–One day after Henry County emergency personnel revived him with NARCAN, a Paris man was arrested on charges of possession of meth and possession of a mixture of heroin and fentanyl.
John Bradley Tharpe III, age 40, of 112 N. Porter St., was charged with possession of meth and possession of the heroin/fentanyl mixture, plus simple possession and shoplifting. Bond was set at $25,000.
According to the reports, Paris Police officers were dispatched Friday to the Greystone Apartments on Washington St. in downtown Paris on a call about a man not breathing. When they arrived, they found Tharpe on the floor. A woman at the apartment said he had taken heroin. EMS personnel administered NARCAN to Tharpe and he again began breathing.
According to the report, Tharpe handed a box to the ambulance workers which was then given to police. The box contained marijuana, meth and a vial with the mixture of heroin and fantanyl.
Tharpe was arrested Saturday by Paris Police.
