Huntingdon, Tenn.–Mudslingers Pottery Studio and The Dixie Carter Performing Arts and Academic Enrichment Center are once again hosting opportunities to experience the hands-on basics of pottery taught by Candace Gooch-Ward.
Class Schedule is every Thursday, March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25 5:30 – 8:00 pm.
Mud Exhibit: Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 5:30pm at Mudslingers Studio
Pottery Class for Adults fee is $170/per student/per session which includes all materials.
Classes are limited to 10 students per class and will focus on the basic pottery skills of pinching, coil building, slab construction, and throwing on the potter’s wheel. Students will also be introduced to glazing and firing processes.
The Dixie is proud to offer this exceptional educational program through Mudslingers Pottery Studio as a part of its mission to provide visual arts programs that empower students of all ages to embrace their artistic abilities, grow and gain confidence in those abilities, and open doors to a life of creative excellence.
