Paris, Tenn.—Grace Episcopal Church in Paris is offering a traditional Ash Wednesday Service, with imposition of ashes, at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. this Wednesday, March 6.
Lent begins Wednesday with Ash Wednesday–some think of this season as the Episcopal Church’s version of a “revival.” This season offers a framework for diving deep with God and renewing spiritual connections. This simple and ancient service, with imposition of ashes, is the traditional doorway to the season of Lent.
