Enjoying Green Eggs & Ham To Honor Dr. Seuss

Buchanan, Tenn.–Henry Co. Sheriff Monte Belew and his K9 Si were guest readers Friday morning at Lakewood School as part of the Read Across America activities that celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss. As always, Si was the star of the show.
In all the schools in the Henry Co. Schools district, students were treated to green eggs and ham in honor of the beloved Dr. Seuss book and at Lakewood students also were given Barbaloot snacks and one fish, two fish, red fish and blue fish snacks.

Other guest readers at Lakewood this morning included Director of Schools Dr. Brian Norton and Paris Police Chief Chuck Elizondo.
