Paris Firefighter Captain Barry Farmer Awarded Life-Saving Medal

Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has awarded Captain Barry Farmer with the Paris Fire Department with a life-saving medal.  While off duty Capt. Farmer had stopped at a residence to check on an item that was for sale. At this time Capt. Farmer approached the house and noticed a gentleman was slumped over in his chair and appeared to be unresponsive. Capt. Farmer then took immediate action by entering the residence and pulling the gentleman out of the house. The resident had become unconscious due to carbon monoxide poison. Capt. Farmer then started life saving procedures as Corporal Stacey Bostwick of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and paramedics of the Henry County Ambulance service  arrived on the scene. Cpl. Bostwick nominated Capt. Farmer to receive this award and the Sheriff’s Office was proud to present Capt. Farmer with this Life Saving medal. In photo, from left are: Chief Deputy Damon Lowe, Capt.
