Dancing For Dogs Raises $3,768 (With More Coming) For Sheriff's Animal Shelter

Paris, Tenn.—The first Dancing For Dogs fundraiser for the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter was such a success that organizer say it definitely will happen again next year.
The event raised $3,768, with more donations still coming in, according to Tracey Loines. The event included dancing, a silent auction and 50-50 drawing and a performance by “A Step In Time Dance Studio” of Waverly, which performed clogging routines for the crowd.
The Enoch Building at the Henry Co. Fairgrounds was packed for the event, which was a 4-H community service project hosted by 4-H member Kaelin Wade.
Henry Co. Circuit Court Clerk Mike Wilson was the emcee.
