Three Arrested, Including Dealers, During Murray Traffic Stop

Murray, Ky.—Three people were arrested on drug charges in Murray in the early morning hours Friday—one driver who was in possession of meth and marijuana and two other people in a separate car who had sold her the meth.
On Friday at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers of the Murray Police Department conducted a traffic stop near the 1400 block of N. 12th Street. Investigation during the stop lead to the driver, Diana Hernandez, age 30, of Murray, being charged with multiple drug offenses including possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth.
During the investigation, officers learned that Hernandez had purchased the meth minutes before she was stopped. Officers obtained descriptions of the subjects who sold the drugs, as well as a vehicle description. While officers were still at the traffic stop, the suspected drug dealers drove by.
A traffic stop was performed on that vehicle in the 800 block of N. 12th St. Officers then charged Ashely Burse, age 28, of Murray, and Ralton Spradling,age 25, of Murray, with trafficking a controlled substance, first degree. Spradling also was wanted for parole violation.
The Murray Police Department was assisted by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
