Union City, Tenn.—Long-time Union City Physician Dr. Robert R. Young died Sunday at his residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Union City. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Private graveside services will be held in East View Cemetery. White Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Young retired in March 2018 after 50 years of service.
He was a founding member and began work at The Woman’s Clinic in Union City in 1965. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1968. He then returned to The Woman’s Clinic in February 1968. In April 2014, The Woman’s Clinic joined the Baptist Medical Group.
