Fulton, Ky.—Fulton, Kentucky, law enforcement officers have been searching all day for a man who robbed a local bank Wednesday morning.
The Security Bank and Trust on Bankers Place in Fulton was robbed shortly before 10 a.m. The suspect was armed with a knife and threatened the teller and left after being given money. No one was hurt in the incident.
The Fulton Co. Emergency Management Agency issued two posts on its Facebook page shortly after the robbery took place, cautioning residents to keep their doors locked and to be aware of their surroundings, but without details of what was happening. Local schools were on soft lockdown.
Police said the suspect was wearing a white beanie and royal blue jacket.
