Paris, Tenn.–The Kiwanis Club of Paris-Lakeway was recognized by Kiwanis International and International President Jim Rochford as one of a select group that has been designated a “Distinguished Club” for the 2017-2018 Kiwanis year. This recognition is quite unique as only a few clubs from within the district received the honor.
The award was presented primarily due to the Paris-Lakeway Club’s member engagement as well as service impact to the community.
Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee District Division 1A Lt. Governor John Fry was on hand to accept the award on behalf of the club and personally delivered the award to the Paris-Lakeway Club.
The Kiwanis Club of Paris-Lakeway was chartered in 1972 and meets on Mondays at noon at The Lee School for the Arts in Paris.
