UPDATE: Escaped Inmate Back In Custody, Found In Field In Caldwell County

UPDATE- Aaron A. Davis has been apprehended and is now back in custody.  Thanks to a tip received from the public, KSP located Davis in a field in Caldwell County at 9:13 AM.  off Old Fredonia Road. KSP CVE Officer George Pointer detained Davis in the field.  Davis was charged with Escape 2nd Degree.

 

The investigation continues by KSP Detective Brian Hill.  KSP was assisted by the Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Division, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Prison Correctional Officers. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555.  Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.  The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.

 

 

Lyon Co., Ky. – The Kentucky State Police received a call from the West Kentucky Correctional Complex located in Lyon County, KY on February 3, at approximately 6:10 AM about a missing inmate. The staff advised an inmate jumped off a food cart and took off walking. Aaron Alexander Davis of Paris, KY is described as a 25 year old white male, 6’00”, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Davis was last seen wearing white long johns, and a khaki toboggan.  Davis has a history of burglary, weapons charges, and fleeing and evading police.  If anyone has contact with Davis contact police immediately.
