Paris, Tenn.–Kathy Collins has been appointed Director of the W. G. Rhea Library. Collins has been serving as Interim Director since September since the retirement last year of long time Director Connie McSwain.
Collins’ tenure with the Rhea Library began in 2011. She served as the Circulation Manager for six years and the Assistant Director for one year.
She has been instrumental in initiating a staff cross-training program and efficiency directive aimed at improving productivity, increasing flexibility, time management, and prioritizing workload.
Collins earned an undergraduate degree from U T Martin and a masters degree from Bethel University in McKenzie.
