Dover, Tenn.–Stewart County Schools will be closed the remainder of the week due to illness.
Director of Schools Leta Joiner said, “After consultation with Stewart County health care professionals, it was determined students would be better served with schools closing” the remainder of this week. The flu has been especially widespread in the school system, she said.
