Paris, Tenn.—A Paris woman was injured when she was struck by a car in downtown Paris Friday afternoon.
Kristi Lacy, age 44, was transported to Henry Co. Medical Center by the county EMS after the accident with a suspected minor injury, according to the police report.
Paris Police were called to the corner of Market and Washington Street around 3 p.m. and found that Lacy had been struck by a car driven by Jennifer Dunlap, age 37, also of Paris.
According to the police report, the driver said she turned south onto Market from Washington and did not see the pedestrian until the accident.
The pedestrian said she was in the crosswalk when the vehicle turned from Washington and that the driver was on the phone at the time of the accident.
