McKenzie Man Arrested After Emergency Room Incident At HCMC

Paris, Tenn.—A McKenzie man was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct following an incident at the emergency room at Henry Co. Medical Center.
Kevin Graves, age 37, of 1060 Old McKenzie Rd., was arrested by Paris Police at 3:30 a.m. Friday.
Police were called to the emergency room on a report of a violent patient. When officers arrived, they found Henry Co. Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Waldron and two members of the medical staff, along with Graves in the back lot near the helicopter pad, involved in a heated discussion.
According to report, Graves became irate and yelled he was not going to jail several time and began fighting. Officers took him to the ground.
An RN told officers Graves became upset when the doctor told him he could not prescribe narcotics and he became more irate when hospital personnel told him he couldn’t leave the hospital with an IV stuck in his arm.
Graves was taken to jail and bond of $3,000 was set.
