Union City, Tenn.–Both kindergarten students and their teachers at Union City Elementary School got in the spirit of the 100th day of the school year Wednesday.
Silver- and blue-haired “old ladies,” some with rollers, others with sagging stockings and glasses, were the theme of the day. There were plenty of “little old men,” too, with walkers, canes, suspenders, bushy eyebrows and mustaches.
House coats, robes and fuzzy slippers were plentiful as well.
There was a day-long focus on the number “100” for the students in their classes as part of the celebration.
