Paris, Tenn.–Lakewood School is congratulating both of its Teachers of the Year for being chosen as District Teachers of the Year.
Pam Young was chosen as the district winner for PK-4th grade. She teaches 4th grade math.
Lakewood Middle School 8th grade teacher, Addy Byars, was chosen as district winner for grades 6-8. She teaches ELA and is the girls’ basketball coach. Each will now compete for the Northwest Core Teacher of the Year honor for their respective grade band.
County Director of Schools Dr. Brian Norton presented them with flowers and chocolates.
