Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a recent string of trailer thefts throughout the county.
Captain Adam Jenkins said the thefts are spread out through Henry Co. and do not seem to be confined to any one area. They are also not geared towards any specific model or type of trailer. Anyone with any information on these thefts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 642-1672 or the Crime Tips Line at 642-0929
“We would also like to encourage anyone who owns a trailer to keep it as secure as possible to
deter any future thefts,” Jenkins said.
The Sheriff’s Office is offering the following tips:
Use a lock to secure your trailer
Try to keep trailer out of sight
Keep your trailer in a well-lit area
If possible, store it in an enclosed area
Keep your serial number to your trailer
Put special markings on your trailer so it can be identified
