Paris, Tenn.—At a short and sweet meeting Tuesday night, the Henry Co. Commissioners authorized the sale of delinquent tax properties at reduced prices and approved a quitclaim on a property within the county.
The commission approved the sale of two delinquent tax properties to Rudy and Mary Lou Trine. Each parcel was sold for $500. Also approved was the sale of a parcel to Jackie Youngblood for $1,733.
County Mayor Brent Greer lauded the action, noting that the properties have been on the delinquent tax rolls for a long time “and I appreciate us getting them back on the tax rolls.”
The quitclaim was approved for the Muench Family Revocable Trust for real estate on Pinehurst Lane. The portion is boarded on both sides by the Muench Family Trust and the landowner will construct a turn-around at Pinehurst Lane where it meets the Muench property, Greer said.
