Paris, Tenn.–A traffic stop for a window tint violated resulted in arrests for drugs and weapons in Henry County Thursday.
Arrested was Graden Miller of 705 Ogburn St., Paris, and his passenger, Hope Clark of 7405 Rabbit Creek Rd., Buchanan.
Henry County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Damon Lowe said a traffic stop was made on Hwy. 119 by Lt. Lance Perry.
Lt. Perry stopped Miller for illegal window
tent. As Miller exited his vehicle Lt. Perry noticed that Miller had a
weapon on his side that he was attempting to conceal. Lt. Perry was able to
take control of the weapon as Miller was moving his hand toward his
waistband.
Sgt Terry Williams and his K-9 Droid arrived to assist Perry. K-9 Droid did
alert on the vehicle and during the search of the vehicle another loaded
handgun was recovered along with three baggies of Meth (Ice), a set of digital
scales, meth pipe, scalpel and blades, spoons and tweezers.
There was a passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Hope Clark and she was found to be in possession of a makeup bag that contained four hypodermic needles, one of which was loaded with meth.
Both were arrested and transported to the Henry County Corrections Facility
and each having a bond of $30,000.
