Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man who ran from officers when they tried to serve a warrant was arrested after a foot chase with Henry County Sheriff’s deputies.
Arrested was Adam Jones, age 32, of Fairview St. He was charged with evading arrest and probation violation.
Jones was apprehended in the Lark Street area by Deputy Dalton Watson. Watson had attempted to serve the warrant at his Fairview Street home Wednesday morning. A woman who answered the front door said Jones was sleeping, but Watson could hear dogs barking in the back yard. He heard a door slam and Jones running from the home.
Other officers joined in the chase and Jones was apprehended on Lark Street, a few blocks away.
