Hazel, Ky.–The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office is currently working the burglary of a Hazel, Ky.
Church and the attempted burglary of another.
Sometime between Wednesday night January 9 and Saturday January 12,
unknown suspects entered the Hazel Church of Christ, took an undisclosed amount of
property, and ransacked the church.
During the same period, unknown suspects also attempted to gain entry into the Hazel
Methodist Church. It appears that entry was unsuccessful but there was damage done to
the church door.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and the Murray-Calloway County Crime Stoppers
are asking for the public’s assistance. If you have information that leads to the arrest of a
suspect Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward. Turn your information into cash by

You may remain anonymous but you must leave a telephone number so that the Crime
Stoppers staff can reach you in the event you are granted a cash reward.
