Paris Fire Department Seeks Wrecked Autos For Extrication Training

Paris, Tenn.–The Paris Fire Department is in need of wrecked or abandoned vehicles for extrication training.
During the department’s March 2019 in-service training, firefighters will be participating in an advanced extrication class taught by Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy instructors.

In order to take full advantage of this training, the department will require 12 to 14 vehicles for demonstration and practice of the extrication techniques taught in the class.

Since the department’s first request in August 2018, it has received several donated vehicles, but require 6 to 8 more to fully prepare for this training course.

If you have or know of any such vehicles which could be donated to the department, please contact Chief Michael Williams, Paris Fire Department at 731-642-1413.
