
Paris, Tenn.—Two Henry County women were arrested on a several charges after Paris Police found meth and marijuana in their vehicle Saturday.
Arrested were Amy Ledford, age 41, of 1400 Chickasaw Rd., Paris; and Linda Golden, age 56, of Main St., Cottage Grove. The two were arrested on Caldwell Street following a routine traffic stop.
Both were charged with charges relating to possession of both meth and marijuana. Ledford also was charged with driving on a revoked license and criminal impersonation for reportedly giving the officer a false name and date of birth.
The traffic stop occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday when he observed their vehicle on E. Blythe with a brake light out. According to the report, when he approached the vehicle, he saw the occupants moving about inside the car.
During the search of the vehicle, officers found 2.5 grams of meth, 0.7 grams of marijuana and a hydrocodone pill. Officers also had digital scales in her pocket.
Bond for each was set at $10,000.
