Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man was arrested in a cornfield after a foot chase in the Puryear area.
Tyee A. Hart, age 23, of 1310 Merrill Rd., was charged with evading arrest and violation of probation.
Henry County Sheriff’s Deputies were on patrol on Hwy. 641 when they spotted Hart standing next to a vehicle in a driveway off of the highway. They knew that Hart was wanted on the probation violation.
When the patrol car turned into the driveway, Hart took off running and deputies chase him through the cornfield and Deputy Frankie Scott and Sgt. Terry Williams apprehended him.
Bond of $1,000 was set.
