Paris, Tenn.–The home of John and Jane Etheridge at 860 Stillwater Drive in Paris was a total loss following a fire Thursday evening. Initial reports indicate that the fire was started by lightning.
Paris Firefighters were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. and were still on the scene over an hour later. The Paris Landing Fire Department was called to the scene to assist.
The Etheridge couple were not at home when the fire began.
The fire department was shuttling water to the fire from hydrants at the Dana Corp. on County Home Rd.
