Dover, Tenn.–On this Christmas Eve, dispatchers at the Stewart County 911 Center will be busy tracking Santa all day and into the evening.
Dispatchers said as soon as they see that Santa is near, they will be issuing a special “be on the lookout”!
Depending on Santa’s final schedule this should be around 8:30 pm this evening. They will broadcast this “BOLO” to the public in a few different ways:

  1. You can watch it on the Stewart Co. Emergency Management Facebook page as dispatchers will do a live feed from the communication center. This is the best and easiest way for the public to listen in.
  2. Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement personnel, the BOLO will be broadcast via radio on all three main dispatch talkgroups.
  3. Finally, if you’re a Stewart Co. resident who still has a scanner then tune in the frequency of 463.900. The BOLO will be broadcast on that frequency in analog and unencrypted so that it may be monitored.

“We know that many moms, dads, and children rely on our Santa tracking each year to ensure that the little ones are snuggled in bed when Santa is near! It’s a service that we are pleased to provide,” dispatchers said.
