Martin Woman Charged After Video Shows Her Beating Her Dog

Martin, Tenn.—A Martin woman has been charged with animal cruelty after a video circulated on social media showing her beating her dog.
Summar Nassar of College Street, Martin, will appear in Weakley Co. General Sessions Court on the misdemeanor animal cruelty charge on January 3.
According to the report at the Weakley Co. Sheriff’s Office, someone sent the video to their department and charges followed.
In the video, which circulated the last couple days on Facebook, she is seen hitting and kicking the dog.
