Paris, Tenn.—A restaurant that offers a vegetarian/vegan alternative opened Wednesday in Paris.
The Roaming Beet Box opened at 206B Tyson Ave. and offers a full menu of gourmet grilled cheese selections, pizza, sandwich, soups and what they’re calling ‘Buddha Bowls’, which offer bowls of good food like the Tex Mex Taco Bowl and Raw Power Bowl.
The Roaming Beet Box is the brainchild of A.J. Wimberley and Sarah Wimberley and in the past year they began operating in their food truck, they’ve already developed a loyal following in both Paris and McKenzie.
The restaurant offers both dine-in and carry-out, although dine-in seating is limited.
And, for dog lovers, they’ll also be selling their packaged homemade dog treats from Wags Barkery there. AJ and Sarah have been operating Wags Barkery online for several years and will be able to sell the dog treats from a display case they have ready in their restaurant.
The restaurant is located in the small strip mall next to Bass Realty.
Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can call them about catering, too, at 731 333 9129.
