Paris, Tenn.—Paris will soon have another gas station and convenience store.
Meeting in regular session Thursday evening, the Paris Municipal Regional Planning Commission approved a site plan from Kalpesh Patel for a convenience store which will be located on Hwy. 79S across the highway from Fuel Pro.
The proposed building is 5,865 square feet and the plan calls for four fuel islands in the front of the building and an additional three islands for diesel fuel at the side of the building. Parking will be at the side and the rear.
The site plan was approved by the panel, pending Tennessee Department of Transportation approval.
The commission also approved an addition to the Antique Mall at 2945 E. Wood St. (Highway 79N) that is owned by David Hassel. The existing building is 4,000 square feet and the proposed addition is 4,620 square feet.
Economic Development Director Jennifer Morris said there will be some relocation of utilities within the property line and the plan has been distributed to utilities for review.
The commission also approved a site plan which will allow Campbell Therapy Center at 109 Commerce Street to expand. Campbell Therapy is located in the Jim Adams Industrial Park and it calls for a two-story addition at the rear of the building.
