Paris, Tenn.—A Paris man was arrested two days in a row on various charges, including possession of psychedelic salvia, a plant with opioid compounds.
Horace McNeary, age 33, of 517 Wynn St., was arrested first on Tuesday, December 11, by Henry Co. Sheriff’s Sgt. Jamie Myrick and the Henry Co. Metro Crime unit. That arrest occurred on Dunlap Street. McNeary was charged with possession of the salvia substance, tampering with evidence and littering.
His bond at that time was set at $15,000.
The next day, he was arrested again on Poplar Street on probation violation charges.
