Paris, Tenn.–The Paris-Henry Co. Chamber of Commerce has provided a map that shows the route of this year’s Downtown Paris Holly Jolly Electric Christmas Parade, which begins at 5 p.m. Saturday, December 8. The parade sets up at the First United Methodist Church on S. Poplar St., moves down Poplar to the Ruff Street intersection, turns left onto Ruff St. and moves across to the Market St. intersection and turns back headed south to the First United Methodist Church.
The parade route was expanded last year to accomodate the larger number of parade entries and the route is the same expanded route. We have shared the map on our website and our Facebook pages.
Grand Marshal is Amy Watson, news anchor of Channel 5 in Nashville. She will be at Wimberley & Associates on the court square with her family beginning at 3 p.m. to meet people.
The parade is sponsored by Nobel Automotive and is organized by the Downtown Paris Association.
It immediately follows the Downtown Paris Christmas Festival which begins at 3 pm Saturday.
