Bill Gordon, age 46, of Paris, was struck by a car as he crossed Mineral Wells Avenue in the crosswalk around 3 p.m.
A car driven by Chloe Pate, age 17, also of Paris, was turning left onto Jim Adams Drive from Mineral Wells. She told officers that she had the green light and didn’t see the man on the bike until the collision. The bicyclist told officers he was traveling northbound and his light was green.
According to the police report, it was unclear if the walk sign at the pedestrian crossing was lit up at the time of the accident.
