Dresden, Tenn.—A Troy man was arrested for car theft after he was spotted driving erratically in Weakley Co.
Joshua Mark Long, age 30, was charged with possession of stolen property valued at over $1,000, reckless driving and evading arrest.
Weakley Co. Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Danny Browning saw the car on Davis Memorial Road near Dresden on Thursday. Observing the erratic driving, Browning followed the car as it turned onto Summers Rd. and stopped.
A computer check showed the vehicle to be stolen out of Madison Co.
Captain Randall McGowan said that Long previously lived on Summers Road, but now lists his address as Troy.
