Bicyclist Shot With BB Gun; Police Seek Suspect

Paris, Tenn.—Paris Police are still seeking the suspect who shot a man riding his bicycle with a BB gun Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the area of Riggins Street and the victim was transported to the Henry Co. Medical Center emergency room where a BB was removed from his ear.
According to the report, the victim said he was riding his bike on the sidewalk and noticed a dark colored four-door car approach him then heard a popping sound. The car then turned around and drove back past him and the victim saw what he thought was a handgun pointed out of the window of the vehicle.
After shooting the victim, the car continued toward Dunlap Street.
Paris Police Captain Ricky Watson told WENK/WTPR Friday morning that police are still seeking the suspect and if anyone in the public has information, they are asked to call the police department at 731 642 2424 or Investigator Derrek Colley at 731 641 1412.
