Paris Man Arrested; 10 Pounds Marijuana, THC Seized

Paris, Tenn.—Henry County Sheriff’s deputies were serving outstanding warrants on a Paris man and in the process discovered 10 pounds of marijuana, several jars of THC wax, THC pens and other drug paraphernalia.
Arrested was Korey Rick, age 25, who is being held in the Henry Co. Jail on $30,000 bond. He will appear in court Dec. 4 on charges of possession with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
At 11:30 p.m. Monday night, Deputy Dalton Watson, along with Deputy William Whitaker, Sgt. Blake Jenkins and Paris Patrolman Daniel Andres went to 2008 Red Oak Dr. to attempt to serve outstanding warrants on Rick for violation of probation out of Circuit Court.
Once at the residence deputies did locate Rick and place him under arrest. When they took him into custody they  smelled an odor of marijuana coming from Rick and also from the residence.
According to Captain Adam Jenkins, deputies conducted a search of the residence and were able to locate 10 pounds of Marijuana, several jars of THC wax, THC pens and misc. drug paraphernalia. Deputies also seized $3,000 in cash believed to be drug proceeds.
