Community Send-Off Party For Patriots Set Friday Evening

Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County High School and Quarterback Club will be hosting a pre-send-off party for the Patriots football team as they prepare to head to the 5A State Championship game. The send-off party will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Henry Co. Fairgrounds Commercial Building.

The Patriots will play at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 in Cookeville against Knoxville Central.
Coach James Counce Jr. and players attended the TSSAA Media Day over the weekend and Counce fielded questions from state media on the upcoming game and Patriots’ preparations.
Please buy your tickets before you get to Cookeville. Ticket prices are the same both places, but Henry Co. High School will keep a larger portion of the sales from pre-sold tickets. Tickets are $12 (good for all football that day at the BlueCross Bowl) and can be purchased as follows:
**Monday through Thursday; 9am-2pm; HCHS Main Office (currently located in E building)
**Tuesday; 5:30-8:30 pm; HCHS Cafeteria during the HCHS Basketball games
**Friday; 9 am-noon; HCHS Main Office

As an interesting note, the Cookeville Chamber of Commerce officials report that Henry County holds the record for most pre-sold tickets of any championship game. the production.

**HCHS is the home team, which is on the west side of the stadium.
**In the event of rain, please know that tents/canopies are not allowed.
**Noisemakers powered by electric, gas, or compressed air are not allowed. Shakers with rocks are not allowed. Cowbells are welcome!
**Only those with passes will be allowed on the field at any time, including after the game.
