Murray, Ky.—The Lakewood School Speech Team came home with a lot of hardware from the Murray High School Invitational over the weekend.
The team placed third overall and individual team members did extremely well.
Ella Seaton was first in prose, second in duo interpretation, fourth in dramatic and fourth in Program Oral Interpretation (POI).
Taylor Boase was third in dramatic, fifth in poetry, and sixth in impromptu.
Layla Briley, second in due interpretation and sixth in dramatic.
Jack Kibbler, fifth in Declamation, sixth in prose and fifth in POI.
Suzie Chau fifth in prose and eighth in improv duo with Kaylee Jordan.
