Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Huntingdon second grade met with Jennifer Tyler from Tennessee Tech and Ollie the Otter to learn about seat belt safety, booster seat safety, proper seatbelt placement and school and construction zone safety. The program was both educational and entertaining, according to Huntingdon Director of Public Safety Walter Smothers. Smothers told the class that Mayor Dale Kelley will be presenting a trophy to the winners of the holiday coloring competition.
