Dump Truck Driver Cited Following Accident

Henry, Tenn.—The Tennessee Highway Patrol has released the report on last week’s accident in which a dump trunk rolled over in a ditch.
The accident occurred Tuesday on Macedonia Rd.
Driver Paul Sutherlin, age 62, of Cottage Grove, was cited for failure to exercise due care following the accident. According to the report, Sutherlin was driving a 2012 Mack dump truck loaded with gravel southbound on Macedonia and failed to keep the vehicle in the proper lane, running off the right side of the roadway into a ditch. The vehicle then overturned onto its right side.
Also called to the scene was the Henry Volunteer Fire Department and the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office.
