UC Band Show Postponed Until Next Week

Union City, Tenn.–The community performance by the Union City High School band – scheduled for tonight at War Memorial Stadium – has been postponed to next Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m.
 
Poor field conditions and the risk of damaging uniforms, instruments and electronics led UCHS Band Director Jason Deem to make the decision after consultation with Union City Schools administration and the UC Turf Management Department.
 
The band will perform at the Grand National Championships contest in Indianapolis Friday at 4:15 (local time).
