Paris, Tenn.—Despite a lengthy tornado warning issued for Henry County last night, damage from Monday night’s storms was relatively minor.
Tornado sirens blared at several places in the county but according to the dispatcher at the sheriff’s office, there were no reports of tornadoes touching down.
Trees were reported down on Mays Bridge Rd., Manleyville Rd., Macedonia Rd., Guthrie Rd., as well as several locations in the Puryear area.
Flooding also was reported on Elkhorn Rd., Fairgrounds Rd., Old Paris-Murray Rd., Oak Grove Rd. South, as well as on Hwy. 641S near Paris Building Supply.
