Paris, Tenn.—Paris Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man wearing a white hockey mask who attempted to rob a local restaurant manager at gunpoint early Saturday morning.
According to Captain Ricky Watson, the attempted robbery occurred around 2:35 a.m. Saturday when the manager at Domino’s Pizza was attempting to make the night deposit at the Regions Bank branch on Wood St.
According to Watson, the manager said the would-be robber ran up to him from Morton Street, pointed what appeared to be a gun at him and demanded the bank bag. The manager was able to get away and drove to the police station to report the incident.
Lt. Josh Frey escorted the manager back to the bank to make the deposit.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 5’10” to 6’ tall, with a green jacket and white hockey mask.
