Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County High School Swim Team competed in a Division 4 swim meet Tuesday at Independence High School in Brentwood and local swimmers qualified for the state meet.
Team top performances were:
Emma Hill 2nd place Girls 50 Yd 26.76 Freestyle which qualified her for the state meet and 1st place finish in the 100 yard back stroke where she earned a qualifying time for regionals.
Shelby Summers had a 4th place finish in the 50 Free and 4th in the 100 Breaststroke which she earned a regional qualifying time for both.
Ameilia Hart had a 4th place finish in the 100 Free and also qualified for the 200 Indivdual Medley
Caleb Cain had a 4th place finish in the 100 Breaststroke and also qualified for regionals in the 50 Freestyle.

Others participating for the team:
Riley French, Sophie Harrison, Peyton King, David Richardson, Hunter Miller and Austin Dunagan.
The team had several personal best and are looking to get more swimmers qualified for the State and Regional meets in January.
