Benton, Ky.—A Benton man was killed Tuesday evening in a motorcycle collision in Marshall Co.
Christopher S. McLeod, age 44, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall Co. Coroner.
The Kentucky State Police responded to the accident around 6:26 p.m. on Old Olive Rd. some two miles south of U.S. 68.
Preliminary investigation shows that McLeod was southbound on Old Olive Rd. operating a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle. For an unknown reason, McLeod ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence. He was not wearing a helmet.
The investigation is continuing by Trooper Will Propes. KSP was assisted on the scene by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County EMS, Marshall County Coroner and Fairdealing-Olive Fire Department.
