Camden, Tenn.–Sheriff Kenny Christopher and Chief Deputy Mike Lockhart, who is over the sex offender registry, have been conducting a sweep of sex offenders in the county over the past few days. They do this each year prior to Halloween to make sure the registered sex offenders are in compliance and do not have anything at their residences to attract children (Halloween lights, front porch lights, candy, etc). They are also ensuring they are located at the residence they are supposed to be. The Benton Co. Sheriff’s Office wishes everyone a safe Halloween.
