Paris, Henry Co. Halloween Activities Planned At Indoor Venues For Wednesday

Paris and Henry Co. will still be holding Halloween and Trick or Treating activities on Wednesday night, although several events will be held indoors.
Indoor Trick-Or-Treating activities will be held at Henry County Medical Center and at its clinics throughout the county and at Henry School. Additionally, the Trunk or Treat night sponsored by the First United Methodist and First Christian Churches in downtown Paris will now be held inside the Christian Life Center of First UMC.
The city of Murray also will be holding its Halloween activities inside the CSFB Center on the Murray State Campus.
Here is a summary of the indoor activities:
Paris First United Methodist Church/First Christian Church Trunk or Treat
Wednesday, October 31, is Halloween, and Paris First United Methodist Church will join with First Christian Church to put on their annual Trunk-or-Treat event.
The Trunk-or-Treat event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Christian Life Center at First UMC.
A church spokeswoman said tables will be set up and the Christian Life Center will be decorated for the Trick or Treating activities. There also will be games, she said.
Hotdogs, chips, and drinks will be served.
 
Henry County Medical Center
Henry County Medical Center wants to sweeten this Halloween for you and your family by offering several opportunities to dress in your spooktacular best and visit our HCMC Services and Clinics this Halloween.
HCMC festivities begin on Tuesday, October 30, with HCMC Eagle Creek Clinic decking out for the day with trick or treating from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Bring your kids by the HCMC Diagnostic Center on Wednesday, October 31 to participate in the fun of trick or treating.  The partners at the Diagnostic Center will be dressed up as animals with the theme “Welcome to the Zoo” and passing out candy.  Feel free to stop by during normal business hours to participate in the fun, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additionally, you can visit several of our HCMC Clinics and enjoy trick or treating in a safe environment.  The HCMC Kelley Clinic with the Center for Wellness & Rehab, Innovative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and HCMC Surgical Specialists are welcoming visitors from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Paris Women’s Center, Transitions Health, and St. Thomas Cardiology will be welcoming the little goblins from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Medical Arts Building, Suites 101 – 104, Suite 201, and Suite 204.  KY Lake Urologic Associates and Paris Pediatrics are also participating from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Stop by and enjoy the festivities at EMS, HCHC Food & Nutrition, and HCMC Departments including Materials Management, Human Resources/Education, Women’s Center, Marketing/Public Relations, 2nd and 3rd Floors, ER Registration, Central Registration, and the Business Office from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. as well.
Henry School
Henry, Tenn.–Once again, some of Henry’s faculty and staff will be at the school Halloween night handing out candy.
School Principal David Kibbler said, “Some staff and group members have stated that they plan to dress in costume and some may even do some decorations. There is no telling what you may see. But, one thing is for sure, you will not see anything unless you stop by.”
You and the kiddos can drop by beginning at 5 p.m. and it will continue until 7:30 p.m. or until the candy is gone!
City of Murray

Thank you to Murray State Racer Athletics and CFSB Center for donating the use of the CFSB Center for Trail of Treats.
Trails of Treats will still be held on Halloween from 5-8 PM. The public is asked to enter through Gate B and will be able to enter starting at 5:00 PM.
Vendors/Clubs/Organizations who are setting up booths can set up starting at 3:00 PM on Wednesday and need to enter at Gate C. Because of the venue change all costume and booth contests have been suspended.
