Dover, Tenn.—The town of Dover will be holding a Halloween Festival at the Stewart Co. Middle School in Dover from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Booths will be set up and candy will be handed out to trick or treaters. The town of Dover estimates that at least 1,000 trick or treaters will be on hand, since that is the total last year.
In a Facebook post, Dover town officials said they do not designate or determine when you take your child to trick or treat. “We offer the Halloween Festival as a safe alternative instead of the traditional door to door due to changing times. It is a parent’s choice whether they are comfortable with their child going door to door.”
