Paris, Tenn.-The Henry Co. Marching Patriots will be performing at their last competition of the season this Saturday in McKenzie at the Bethel University Renaissance Marching Invitational. Seventeen bands will be at the competition, which begins at 5 p.m. Henry Co. will perform at 10 p.m.
Since this is our last competition for the year and it is so close, it would be great to drum up as much community support as possible. This group of kids work so hard and put in so many hours of practice time (usually in 90+ heat) during marching season. We would love to see just tons of red Henry County shirts in the stands supporting our band. There will be 17 bands there – the competition starts at 5:00 with Henry County performing at 10:00pm. at Wildcat Stadium on the Bethel Campus.
Public Relations Officer Barbara Cave said it is hoped as many people from Henry County can attend as possible. “This group of kids work so hard and put in so many hours of practice time (usually in 90 degree-plus heat) during marching season. We would love to see tons of red Henry County shirts in the stands supporting our band.”
